Time flies. we all know that song…
…and the time has come for another cool show! This time we’ve got something quite different, a treat, an ideal chance to unwind, reflect, take a deep breath and carry on with clarity.
One-man wondersoundmachine 202.Project will be taking our place by ambient storm!

JP (aka John Player) aka 202. Project is no stranger to putting out records, playing or touring. With hundreds of songs to count and a handful of releases to date, he’s already toured Europe 5 times -just him and his van- played with some top notch bands along the way and lucky for us, he’s doing it all over again!
This time stopping by our city for what promises to be a memorable show! And so, this Saturday May 8 we have the pleasure of presenting a man who truly does do it himself!

Packing little more than a guitar, some keys, a laptop and some knobs and buttons to fiddle with, this chum can conjure up as much heart-thumping noise as he can weave emotionally charged soundscapes. Delicate vocals mix with samples, loops and bleeps, the atmosphere darkens and eventually fades to black. Encompassing anything from blues to walls of sound, we can’t wait to take a deep breath and trip out on some seriously cool music! If you’ever ever liked anything dark, atmospheric, experimental or belonging to the avant garde world of looming sound, you might wanna check this shit out!
JP aka John Player aka 202.Project will also be hitting other greek cities, so check his page for more info, in case he’s playing in a town near you!
Now, you may think Angelos Kyriou is an easy-peasy pop opener. But, turns out there’s more beneath these seemingly tame waters. Twisting keys, vocals and strings to create small distorted worlds each time, his songs are more like the soundtrack to a weird-ass dream, rather than something you can actually sing along to. His stop-start, cut-and-mix samples and swooshes go well with the surreal vocals, which can go from lament to paranoia, and from prayer to nightmare within bleeps. Definitely an interesting and challenging approach to the concept of ‘singer – songwriter‘.
To begin the night, dynamic lo-fi and static tension duo 1000 Beautiful Women take the stage to deliver their take on all things noise. Four hands, lots of reverb, truckloads of sound. A guitars scratches, a female voice travels, minds slowly burn. End of Transmission. This is a schizophrenic’s sonic wet dream.
Stay tuned for updates, info and an unexpected suprise! (hint hint…the ash has settled
